Blog #3 My Life Next Door

The ending to my book was very good. The book was kind of slow through out the middle but then when I finally found out what the secret was and what Samantha's mom did to the Garret family I was appalled! I wasn't surprised about what her mom did only because she is somewhat of a selfish person because she is in politics and I feel like when you are in a campaign it can make you very competitive and selfish. I love how Samantha finally stood up for herself and the Garret family because her mom shouldn't be able to tell her whom she can and cannot love or talk to.

**SPOILER ALERT**

It was very sad finding out that her mom was the one that ran over Jase Garrets parents, while Sam was in the back seat sleeping and later on was the reason Sam broke up with him for a little while because she new the truth. I think another reason it was hard for her to tell was because the Garrets don't have health insurance and her mom would definitely be paying the price for all of their medical bills. She didn't want to hurt her mom or Jase by telling the truth, but it was breaking her down mentally and physically. She lost a lot of weight and finally her friend Tim confronted her about it. I just can't believe her mom would hit them and then run away from the scene but then again it could've really hurt her career in politics. So will her mother fess up and take responsibility for what she did? I will leave you with that question.

My question to the author would be why and how could you make someone so evil?! But it was definitely a good read. :)
